Mr.Miles was my freshman homeroom teacher, and I was tired of sports. I had been on the track team since 4th grade, and I don't know if he knew that or not, but he was persistant about me running and I would not budge. So one morning he came up to me and told me not to put sports out of my life. Do he said just give some time to think. So the next day he came up to me and said I have it, and the sport for you is tennis. I replied tennis, really I haver never played the sport and never watched the sport. He told me that it would be perfect for me. I should use my speed and to win or lose would be on my shoulders. So I agreed, and he introduced me to Mrs. Fullen, the tennis coach. Within a couple of weeks I fell in love with the sport. Mr.Miles, I could not thank you enough. That was one of the best things that has happened in my life. Now there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about playing, watching, or talking about tennis. So if any one knows him, or where he is, please extend a firm handshake, and extend my my upmost thanks and gratitude for him.
